And that goes through with all items you have (except weapons, armor and food thankfully). So the antidote will have another name on the next try. I even wrote down every name with the effect only to find out that the names are randomised. Your antidote is now lead-colored medicine and your poison is now flesh-colored medicine and your only chance to know what is what is to consume it. And the things it throws at you are (with the rule in place) unidentified. You are forced to make do with what the random dungeon throws at you. And the later stages come with rules like "cannot bring items", "cannot bring partners", "unidentified items". You can't bring items with you on most stages. (Sadly, reincarnation is useless but more to that later.)Īnd here comes my biggest gripe with the later stages of the game. Obviously I maxed it out and prepared it for reincarnation to make it even stronger. Reimu, running around with that big slap of Iron, smashing the new residents of Gensokyo is a sight to behold. You even find Guts's Dragon Slayer (Heishishorin Sword) in the game. It was weird to always start at level 1 at the start of a missiuon, but leveling equipment, crafting items and prepare for bigger quests really had me engaged. Though, after I've gotten used to the general idea of turnbased movements, I really started to adore this game. With only 1.7 % of the playbase having defeated Ichirin, I'd say I made it pretty far.Īs someone, who has never touched any game in the mystery dungeon genre, this game was rather new to me. Lastly, Ichirin Kumoi, who was easier than I thought. After that, I explored the underground and defeated Utsuho as the crimson raven, followed by Hata no Kokoro after completing the Bunny Land attractions.
So, where do I stand now? I've have beaten Buyking Rinnosuke as the main boss of the game. I've now, at this time, have spent 51 hours on this game.
I'd say I spent around 50+ hours on it by now but it's hard to judge and could be more.
TOUHOU GENSO WANDERER PS4
I don't know precisly how much time I spent, as the PS4 doesn't keep track of time and I didn't found anything in the game. I don't know how many of you got this game but give it a read and judge for yourself as I ramble about the last parts of the game. Originally, I had the goal to 100% complete the game but my patience is really running low with the last missions. I've been playing this game a lot lately and just have to write something about it as I am now giving up on it.
